Las calderas y los intercambiadores de calor son muy susceptibles a la formaci\u00f3n de dep\u00f3sitos debido a la variedad de impurezas del agua de alimentaci\u00f3n. El agua de reposici\u00f3n de la instalaci\u00f3n se preparaba mediante ablandamiento de agua in situ, con desajustes ocasionales. Cuando se llev\u00f3 a cabo un estudio de la superficie interna de la caldera, se estim\u00f3 que el grosor acumulado de las incrustaciones era de unos 0,635 mm. Conscientes de que los dep\u00f3sitos en la caldera pod\u00edan afectar a su rentabilidad, provocar p\u00e9rdidas de agua caliente de purga y corroer los equipos, las instalaciones se pusieron en
