Una fuente de esta imprevisibilidad son las cargas fluidas. Un funcionamiento estable y seguro de la EDAR requiere <br \/>luchar contra esta variabilidad utilizando la automatizaci\u00f3n y el control en tiempo real, lo que no ocurr\u00eda con el anterior concepto de tratamiento en el cliente de este estudio de caso.<\/p><p>El centro de producci\u00f3n de madera pudo gestionar la EDAR gracias a la mano de obra intensiva que inclu\u00eda;<\/p><ul><li>Control manual de muestras<\/li><li>An\u00e1lisis de laboratorio que requieren mucho tiempo<\/li><li>Inspecci\u00f3n visual de la descarga<\/li><li>Uso innecesario de dosis de productos \u201cpor si acaso\u201d.<\/li><\/ul><p>La falta de automatizaci\u00f3n y la constante demanda de m\u00e9todos de trabajo manuales hacen que los siguientes puntos sean motivo de preocupaci\u00f3n:<\/p><ul><li>Demasiada mano de obra necesaria para un funcionamiento seguro, fluido y estable de la planta.<\/li><li>Sobredosis de productos.<\/li><li>Elevado coste del programa de tratamiento.<\/li><\/ul><p>Adem\u00e1s, el cliente incinera los lodos, y el volumen de residuos generados en la EDAR era una gran preocupaci\u00f3n para ellos. Como parte del protocolo de buenas pr\u00e1cticas se solicit\u00f3 disminuir el contenido de agua de los lodos afectando negativamente a la reducci\u00f3n del proceso de generaci\u00f3n de calor.<\/p><p><strong>Objetivos<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Optimizaci\u00f3n de la planta de aguas residuales operando en un amplio rango de pH<\/li><li>Reducci\u00f3n de la dosis de coagulante.<\/li><li>Reducci\u00f3n del tiempo del operario. Gracias a la automatizaci\u00f3n ya no es necesaria la mano de obra constante en el funcionamiento de la planta.<\/li><li>Mantener la demanda qu\u00edmica de ox\u00edgeno (DQO) <br \/>en la calidad del agua de vertido y de los lodos<br \/>bajo control.<\/li><li>Funcionamiento seguro y estable de la planta.<\/li><li>Reducci\u00f3n del consumo de productos de
