Isto conduz a condi\u00e7\u00f5es poeirentas nos parques de mat\u00e9rias-primas e a perdas de material, o que pode ter um impacto direto nos custos de produ\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p><p>Para atenuar estes efeitos, os produtores utilizam solu\u00e7\u00f5es aquosas com agentes de forma\u00e7\u00e3o de crosta que s\u00e3o pulverizadas sobre as pilhas de material, formando uma camada solidificada resistente \u00e0 eros\u00e3o e\u00f3lica.<\/p><p>Ent\u00e3o - solu\u00e7\u00e3o f\u00e1cil? S\u00f3 parcialmente.<\/p><p>Os estaleiros de mat\u00e9rias-primas s\u00e3o ambientes movimentados. A gest\u00e3o de stocks \u00e9 uma arte em si mesma. Navios, cami\u00f5es ou comboios podem chegar a qualquer momento, descarregando e formando novas pilhas. Enquanto as crostas tendem a decompor-se com o tempo, os materiais higrosc\u00f3picos criam um efeito de humidade que impede a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de p\u00f3. Neste caso, s\u00e3o utilizados dois m\u00e9todos principais de controlo de poeiras: pulveriza\u00e7\u00e3o h\u00famida e sistemas \u00e0 base de espuma.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3fbe331 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3fbe331\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Os sistemas de pulveriza\u00e7\u00e3o h\u00famida podem ser eficazes devido ao seu efeito de arrefecimento, mas tamb\u00e9m introduzem humidade no material. Esta humidade tem de ser evaporada em processos subsequentes (por exemplo, altos-fornos ou fornos de coque), resultando numa penaliza\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica e num aumento do custo total de propriedade (TCO).<\/p><p>Os sistemas de espuma, que produzem uma espuma relativamente \"seca\" utilizando ar comprimido e bicos especializados, podem obter uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de poeiras semelhante, minimizando a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua - at\u00e9 0,1% (1000 ppm). As unidades de espuma s\u00e3o ideais quando o processo ou o material n\u00e3o tolera o excesso de humidade, ou quando \u00e9 crucial minimizar as penaliza\u00e7\u00f5es energ\u00e9ticas.
